On Aug 21, 2012, Annual General Meeting Of Share-holders 2012 of Dry Cell And Storage Battery JSC.  (PINACO) was held at Phuong Nam Guest House – Addr. 252 Nguyen Trai Str., 1st Dist, Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the meeting were the representatives of large shareholders and other personal shareholders as well as Pinaco’s  Board of Directors and staffs.

In the meeting, Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan – the Chairman and Mr. Tran Thanh Van – the CEO were reporting about the results of business operations in 2011 and business plans for 2012. Besides, the Board of Directors were also listened to opinions from representatives of shareholders.

In fact, Vietnam’s economy in 2011 was rated as the most difficult within the last 20 years with the economic growth rate only reached 5.89%.  Because of the unpredictable changes in the economy, the Board has carefully observed of market developments in order to set up and follow the business plan in 2011. As a result, Pinaco completed business plan to reach the target revenue growth and to provide stable life for employees.

Total revenue in 2011 was 1,979 billions, pre-tax profit reached 111 billions. Based on the market research and evaluation , Pinaco decides the new business objectives with specific measures in 2012 as follows:

Main targets in 2012:

• Total revenue : 2,050 billions (10% growth).
• Profit before Tax: 115 billions
• Dividend : 15% at least
